Who on earth is running this show?

Darling Bee began in 2020 as the passion project of Brydie Cummins- a jeweller of 25 years experience.

Brydie dreamed of making beautiful, giftable, treasures from recycled silver. There was a theme, there was a story, an idyllic studio was rented and then...there was covid... recycled silver became difficult to purchase, large scale wholesale orders drained her of joy and the demands of motherhood gradually slowed Darling Bee to a holy in 2024.

Brydie moved her studio home, stopped selling her work an just crafted for enjoyment while focusing on looking after herself and her family. But then (dut dut daaaa) there was a break-in and everything was gone. Everything except 1kg of scrap silver left over from 25 years of projects. There was much grief. To lose what was essentially a personal history, thousands of hours of her life and so much passion. She almost vowed never to make again!

Fortunately, at the start of 2026, inspiration struck and she found herself drawn back to the bench by the challenge of turning that 1kg of scrap silver into treasures. You can join Brydie in her journey via social media.
